LOUISVILLE, Ky.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Aline, the leading provider of an all-in-one operating system for senior living, today announced the appointment of Chief Revenue Officer Jonathan Blackburn and Chief Financial Officer Ryan Johnson to its leadership team. Aline was formed in October 2022, as the result of the merger of industry leading software providers Enquire, Glennis Solutions, and Sherpa CRM.
“I am pleased to welcome Jonathan and Ryan to our leadership team,” said Brad Frasher, chairman and CEO of Aline. “Their individual and collective experience and understanding of what it takes to drive growth both organically and through acquisitions, as well as delivering operational excellence, will be instrumental in helping advance our position as the leading SaaS partner to senior living providers.”
Blackburn will be responsible for leading Aline’s commercial strategy across its industry-leading portfolio of CRM automation, operational, care and digital payments solutions.
Prior to joining Aline, Blackburn served as the chief revenue officer for Therapy Brands, a mental and behavioral health software, and integrated payments company, where he drove rapid growth and expansion of the platform both organically and through M&A. He previously served as chief revenue officer and general manager of Daxko, a leader in software and integrated payments for the health and wellness industry. Before Daxko, Jonathan was vice president of sales for major accounts at ADP, a global provider of cloud-based human capital management.
“Every year, Aline solutions help thousands of senior living communities maximize operational efficiency and deliver memorable experiences to those they serve,” said Blackburn. “I am thrilled to join the Aline team, and I look forward to continuing to provide our customers with best-in-class software and training solutions that will address their complex needs, drive profitability, and improve the quality of life of their residents.”
As Chief Financial Officer, Johnson is responsible for leading the company’s finance, legal and HR areas of the business.
Johnson previously served as chief financial officer at InStride, a workforce education software and services company. There he helped the company scale from startup to a 180-person team helping employees in more than 40 large corporations, including Amazon, American Express, and Medtronic, avoid more than $630 million of student debt, for which the company was named to Fortune’s Global Impact 20 list of young companies. Prior, he was chief financial officer of SchoolMint, a SaaS provider in the K12 education market. He also served as head of worldwide pricing and packaging at Qualtrics, a venture-backed provider of experience management SaaS solutions.
“I am excited to join Aline, particularly now,” said Johnson. “As a company with roots in senior living, we have a unique value proposition as the only purpose-built senior living operating system that delivers operational efficiency and enhanced resident experiences at scale, with a unified data model that delivers portfolio-wide insight into every aspect of the owner/operator’s business.”
Aline’s end-to-end system supports the full resident lifecycle—from sales and marketing to leasing and billing to care and medication management—while enabling better decision-making through sophisticated reporting and data insights, providing team members increased visibility into each resident interaction and streamlining processes across departments. As a result, Aline supports occupancy growth, increased operational efficiency, and improved outcomes for investors, staff, residents, and their families.
